South African Pulp and Paper Industries is a global leader in coated paper and paperboard. With a long standing influence in the design and print industry, Sappi needed a brand that could not only stand the test of time but mark themselves as trailblazers in sustainability and innovation.
We created a library of shapes inspired from nature and the pulp and paper industry. Organic and freeform, they help to connect the brand back to sustainability and serve as a reminder to where the paper is derived from. They’re used over imagery, intertwined with textures found in nature, and serve as a design and layout tool.
